Battlefield

From Game: Super Smash Bros. Melee

Battlefield is returning to in Smash Bros Brawl, probably due to the fans who loved duking it out on this simple 3 platform stage.. Battlefield is known for its simplicity and for its day and night feature. It's simple, 'cause it consists of a flat surface, and three floating platforms. No field changes, no slopes, nothing. It's cool day and night feature is exactly what it says. It shifts from day to night (Pics Below). First morning, then day, then night! Pretty cool, huh? Expect cool things from this game's stages.

Delfino Plaza

From Game: Super Mario Sunshine

For those of you who have played Super Mario Sunshine, here's your chance to relive the good times! Delfino Plaza's coming to Brawl. You get on a platform, and it moves you around town, (Pics below) just like Mute City in Melee. A lot of people will notice that the tower in the middle has an extension! So that means you'll probably fight on it! If Sakurai keeps up these pleasant surprises, we'll need another site just to cover it all!

Yoshi’s Island

From Game: Yoshi's Island

Ahhhhhh… How peaceful. Making a third appearance in Brawl, is Yoshi’s Island. Yes, at Yoshi’s Island you can enjoy floating shy guys, a support ghost, and marvelous changing seasons. The shy guys make an appearance every once in a while. The support ghost saves people who falls of the island. Watch out, that platform in the middle will tip and you'll fall off if you're not careful. Plus, the seasons change, like the time of day changes in Battlefield, the seasons change at Yoshi’s Island, what surprises will come with each season?. Wait, Yoshi’s Island? That can only mean Yoshi’s back…

Lylat Cruise

From Series: Star Fox

Ok, remember the Corneria stage from Melee? When you fought on the back of the Great Fox? This is a similar stage, only it’s on a ship called Pleiades, and it’s fought in space. The Lylat System to be exact. While on here, you enter Corneria’s atmosphere, exit it, speed through space battles, and even an asteroid belt! And they’re not even wearing spacesuits! Woah, I wouldn’t call it a cruise with all that going on!

Bridge of Eldin

From Game: Zelda Twilight Princess

In Twilight Princess, I’m positive most of you’ve been ticked off because there was a big chunk of it missing. So you head out into the desert, you find it and transport it back. That’s what this basically is, without the desert part. You fight on the bridge, while King Bulblin stampedes through the stage, throwing bombs and blowing chunks off the bridge occasionally. But then a portal opens up in the sky, and the missing chunks falls gently into place. Aside from that, it's really just a big flat area to fight. This being a stage from Twilight Princess, I’m sure fan boys will be delighted. Beautiful landscape don't you think?

Smashville

From Series: Animal Crossing

If you liked Animal Crossing, I have good news for you! An Animal Crossing town stage is making it to Brawl. It’s called… Smashville. It’s a bit corny, but you’ll soon see the better parts of this stage, it shifts from day to night, depending on the time on your Wii’s internal clock. Plus, if you’re there on Saturday at 8 PM, K.K Slider gives a live performance! Characters from the games will be in the background, watching your event. They even stop by Brewster for a coffee! Cool, no? Day, night, or in the middle, Smashville makes a welcome addition to Brawl’s stages.

Rumble Falls

From Series: Donkey Kong

Did you like Icicle Mountain from Melee, but didn’t like the Ice Climbers? Did you ever want to climb a ladder? Look no further, because Rumble Falls is coming to Brawl. It is a tropical setting, and it takes place in front of a waterfall. The basis is simple: climb and kill. Plus, for the first time in Brawl history, you can climb a ladder. The top of the waterfall isn’t the top of the stage, so keep climbing! Rumble Falls is a climbing stage, just like Icicle Mountain, so climbers will be drawn to this stage.

Skyworld

Skyworld is a new stage introduced to Brawl. It is Pit’s home stage, and he probably has an advantage here. You see, the floor crumbles, so some of the time there won’t be any floor, but it quickly re-builds again; you'll be jumping from platform to platform as you go through this stage attacking enemies and crumbling the stage. Pit can fly for a short time only, so you’d better hurry, or else you’ll fall. You thought it’d be easy huh? Expect this stage to be one of the more hectic stages of Brawl.

Castle Siege

Are you a fan of Fire Emblem? Then this stage is for you. Castle Siege is a unique stage; namely because you keep falling. Picture this: you’re fighting in the middle of a war on a roof. Fireballs fly through the skies. Then, one comes to hit you. You fall through the floor, and land in a throne room. You fight some more. Then the floor shatters again, and you head to the mysterious underground. This stage will be among some favorites, because of the midair battle action! Fire Emblem fans are told this isn’t a particular castle, nor war from the series, so imagine it how you like.
