Assists
Hammer Bro.
Remember in the good old days, when you used to pull out your NES, and play Super Mario Bros.? Well, do you remember Hammer Bro.? Yes, Hammer Bro. finally makes it to Brawl, but as an Assist Trophy! Hammer Bro. jumps up into the air, and pelts his hammers at other players. Simple, no? Well anyway, Hammer Bro. fans wont be disappointed to see him finally jump to the battlefield.
Nintendog
Everybody put your paws in the air, and wave em like you just dont care! A Nintendog from the famous Nintendog series makes an entrance to Brawl! Lets say youre on your best stage, and youre getting owned. Well, pick up an Assist Trophy, and release a Nintendog! A Nintendog blocks everybodys view by pawing at the camera. This allows you to attack your enemy, if you know the stage by heart. Nintendogs are cute, but their cuteness will be feared in Brawl.
Samurai Goro
Woah! Look at those Biceps! Samurai Goro finally makes it to Brawl, but as an Assist Trophy. What he does is pretty simple. He runs across the stage, slashing everyone in his way. Pretty cool, huh? Hes invincible too, so watch out! Unfortunately, with the appearance of Goro, that means his studly pink car will be left behind. Pink car or not, Samurai Goro makes a welcome addition to the non-playable character roster.
Dr. Wright
If you played SimCity as a kid on the SNES, youll remember this guy. Dr. Wright is your poofy-haired advisor in the game. His power is to make skyscrapers appear out of the ground. If players are over them, then they get struck up in the air. Thats business, you know. Dr. Wright is tired of sitting around, giving advice, hes ready to join Brawls assist trophies!
Knuckle Joe
Knuckle Joe makes his way to the battlefield! Knuckle Joe appeared in the popular anime, Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. In the anime, he is violent and rude. But enough of that, already! In Brawl, hes the assist trophy of a million punches! He starts out with some Vulcan Jabs. Next, he does one of two things: Smash Punch or Rising Break. With Smash Punch, he punches enemies really hard, and with Rising Break, he does this thunderbolt-kick thing.
Devil
When you read the word Devil, this isnt what you expected, was it? The Devil is from an old NES game, Devil World, which was only released in Japan. What the Devil does is he points a certain way, and the screen scrolls! Because the screen scrolls, youll have to jump to survive! Kirby and Pit users have it easy though, so consider yourself lucky if you get the Devil and youre playing as them, the footstool jump will be a crucial move in some of these situations. Unfortunately, Americans will learn about the Devil the hard way. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
